Cissy Mulondo, Minister of State for Finance (General Duties), Mr. Byamukama Kereere Godfrey, Commissioner Economic Development policy and Research department, Mr. Jimmy Sherlock of Reborn International, and partners to explore potential investments exceeding US$1.1 billion.
The delegation, led by Hon. Joan Machora of Nile Basin Ore Innovations Uganda Limited and others explored opportunities in rural roads, affordable housing, mineral exploration and value addition through refinery establishment, healthcare facility development, and pharmaceutical manufacturing of over 60 varieties of drugs.
With government guidance and facilitation, alongside the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), these initiatives aim to create jobs, strengthen local industries, and accelerate Uganda’s economic transformation.
